PM-KISAN

Who can get it: Land-owning farmer families (income-tax payers, some professionals and post holders are excluded).
What you get: Rs 6,000 a year in three instalments of Rs 2,000.
How to apply: Register on the PM-KISAN portal with e-KYC, at a CSC, or through the AEO.
Status: Running; 22nd instalment around 13 Mar 2026. (confidence: High)

PM Fasal Bima (crop insurance)

Who can get it: Farmers growing notified crops, in states that take part.
What you get: Crop-loss insurance at a low premium (2% kharif, 1.5% rabi, 5% commercial crops).
How to apply: Online, at banks or CSCs, only where the state has notified the scheme.
Status: Not confirmed as running in Telangana. The state left in 2020 and announced it would rejoin in 2024; we found no official confirmation that it has. (confidence: Medium)
