PM Awas Yojana – Gramin

Who can get it: Rural houseless families, or families in kutcha houses, from the Awaas+ survey list.
What you get: Rs 1.20 lakh to build a pucca house, plus job-scheme wage days and Rs 12,000 for a toilet.
How to apply: Through the Gram Panchayat or MPDO.
Status: Extended for 2024-29. In Telangana it overlaps with Indiramma Indlu. (confidence: Medium)

PM Awas Yojana – Urban 2.0

Who can get it: Urban EWS, LIG and MIG families with no pucca house anywhere in India.
What you get: Up to Rs 2.5 lakh, or an interest subsidy on a home loan.
How to apply: Online or at your municipality (for example GWMC).
Status: Running 2024-29. (confidence: Medium)

PM Surya Ghar (rooftop solar)

Who can get it: Households with their own roof and an electricity connection.
What you get: Subsidy of Rs 30,000 per kW up to 2 kW and Rs 18,000 for the 3rd kW, up to Rs 78,000.
How to apply: Online; a registered vendor installs and TGNPDCL inspects.
Status: Running. (confidence: High)
