VB-G RAM G rural jobs guarantee

Earlier called MGNREGA

Who can get it: Rural households whose adults want unskilled manual work.
What you get: 125 days of guaranteed wage work per household a year (MGNREGA gave 100), wages paid to your bank.
How to apply: Register at your Gram Panchayat. Existing e-KYC'd MGNREGA job cards stay valid until new cards are issued.
Status: Replaced MGNREGA from 1 Jul 2026. (confidence: High)

PM Vishwakarma

Who can get it: Artisans aged 18+ in 18 traditional trades (carpenter, blacksmith, potter, goldsmith, cobbler, mason, barber, tailor, washerman and others); one per family.
What you get: Training with Rs 500 a day stipend, a Rs 15,000 toolkit voucher, and loans of Rs 1 lakh then Rs 2 lakh at 5% interest.
How to apply: Register at a CSC; verified by the Gram Panchayat or municipality.
Status: Running to 2027-28. (confidence: Medium)

Atal Pension Yojana

Who can get it: Citizens aged 18–40 with a bank account who do not pay income tax.
What you get: A guaranteed pension of Rs 1,000 to Rs 5,000 a month from age 60, depending on what you pay in.
How to apply: At your bank branch or through net banking.
Status: Running. (confidence: High)

PM Suraksha Bima (accident insurance)

Who can get it: Bank or post office account holders aged 18–70.
What you get: Rs 2 lakh for accidental death or total disability, Rs 1 lakh for partial disability, for Rs 20 a year.
How to apply: At your bank, post office or net banking.
Status: Running. (confidence: High)
